Terms of Service
Last updated: September 23, 2026
These terms explain how trading with Trasimba works and what we expect from each other. By creating an account or trading with us, you agree to them. If something here is unclear, message us before you trade.
1. Who we are
Trasimba (trasimba.com) is an independent peer-to-peer (P2P) crypto trader. When you trade here, you trade directly with Trasimba. This website is not an exchange, a bank, a wallet provider or a marketplace, and it does not hold crypto on your behalf other than the balance described in section 5.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- The information you give us (name, email, contact, date of birth and your username on another trading platform) must be true and your own. One account per person.
- Every new account is reviewed by hand before it can trade. We may approve or decline an account, and may ask for more information at any time.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens on your account; tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to it.
3. How trades work
- The rate for each payment method or gift card brand is shown before you start. Rates can change at any time until your trade or order is submitted.
- Every trade has its own chat and is confirmed step by step. Only press “Mark as Paid” after you have actually sent the payment.
- Payment details you use (bank, Cash App, PayPal, mobile money number and name, and so on) must be in your own name.
- For MTN Mobile Money and Telecel Cash trades, the USD amount is held from your balance when the trade starts. It is used once you confirm you received the GHS, and returned to your balance if the trade is cancelled before payout.
- An open trade can be cancelled by you or by us. We may pause a trade and ask for extra verification before completing it.
4. Gift cards
- Only sell gift cards that you obtained legitimately and have the right to sell.
- Every card is checked before your balance is credited. The payout is the rate shown for that brand when you submitted the order.
- Cards that are invalid, already used, reported lost or stolen, or obtained through fraud are rejected with no payout, and we may close the account involved.
5. Your balance and withdrawals
- Your balance holds confirmed gift card payouts, USDT deposits, rewards and referral bonuses. It is not a bank account and earns no interest.
- You can add to your balance by sending USDT (or BTC, where offered) to the address shown in your account, on the network shown there. Upload a screenshot of the transfer as proof. A deposit is added once we have confirmed on the blockchain that it arrived, at the rate shown when you submit it. USDT sent on another network, other coins, or deposits we can't match to a real transfer may not be recoverable. Submitting a fake or edited screenshot will get your account closed.
- BTC you deposit is kept as bitcoin in a separate BTC balance, so its dollar value goes up and down with the BTC price — it can fall as well as rise. You can withdraw it as BTC, or convert it to your dollar balance — and you can also convert dollars from your balance into BTC. Conversions use the live price at the moment you convert (minus the conversion fee shown, if any) and can't be undone.
- You can withdraw your balance in USDT or BTC to the wallet address you enter. Withdrawals are sent by hand and can take some time.
- Crypto transfers cannot be reversed. Check the address (and network) carefully — we cannot recover funds sent to an address you entered by mistake.
- We may hold a withdrawal or a balance while we look into suspected fraud, stolen cards or other activity that breaks these terms.
6. Rewards, referrals and likes
- Reward tiers, referral bonuses, referral milestones and like rewards are promotions. The current amounts and rules are shown in your account, and we may change or end them at any time.
- Referral bonuses and milestone bonuses are paid under the rules shown in your account at the time. Rewards are only for genuine activity: fake or duplicate accounts, referring yourself, trading or buying likes, or any other abuse means the rewards are cancelled and the accounts involved may be closed.
7. What's not allowed
- Fraud, scams, money laundering, or trading stolen funds, stolen cards or cards obtained from scam victims.
- Anything that is illegal where you live or where the payment is sent from.
- Giving false information, using someone else's identity or payment account, or opening more than one account.
- Trying to interfere with the website, other members' accounts, or the trade chat, and abusive or threatening messages.
We may report fraud to the payment provider, the gift card issuer or the authorities.
8. Risks and your responsibilities
- Crypto prices can change quickly. You decide whether and when to trade.
- You are responsible for making sure P2P crypto trading is allowed where you live, and for any taxes on your trades.
- Keep your own records of your trades and withdrawals.
9. Closing an account
You can ask us to close your account at any time — please finish any open trades and withdraw your balance first. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; where it is safe and lawful to do so, we will explain why and pay out any balance that is not connected to the problem.
10. Limits of our responsibility
We work hard to keep the site running and every trade fair, but the website is provided “as is” and may sometimes be unavailable. We are not responsible for losses caused by incorrect details you give us (such as a wrong wallet address or mobile money number), by third-party services (payment apps, gift card issuers, blockchains), or by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms takes away any rights you have under the law of your country that cannot legally be limited.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated terms apply to you.
